How to manage partial sets on Brickset

I recently purchased a couple of sets w/o minifigures.

When I add these sets to my collection the minifigures populate my Minifigure collection. Is there a way I can remove them and keep the sets in my collection? I tried clicking the "I own" tag and entering the quantity as zero but they remain in my collection.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

At the moment, no. The system assumes if you own the set, you own the figs.

Is it something that could maybe be added as I have the same thing. Where I have sold figures but kept the set. I could count them but its way easier to do it on brickset.

I have had the same issue but have been using the comment/note section for my set. What I do is mark if I am missing a piece or two, instructions, or a mini-figure.

^ Yup. The Advanced Collection Manager (ACM) will help you keep these kinds of notes on your specific sets. :o)
