Did you order it from Virgin? I didn't get a confirmation email for mine, so I'm a bit worried...

Is that a unique female torso print? Nice to see the HP hair pieces becoming more common.

  • Si_UKNZSi_UKNZ Member Posts: 4,179

^ thanks. For everyone elses benefit, the Virgin Atlantic site suggests you will get free shipping on orders over £100 but actually I got charged shipping even though it did not appear during checkout.

Does anyone know if this can be shipped to the States from the Virgin web site? Thank you.

I would like to get from somebody. How much money would it be to send to the USA?
  • MatthewMatthew Administrator Posts: 3,714
^^ No, only the UK. You could ask someone in the UK to ship one to you.
^ Perhaps @Huw or @Si_Dorking_Surrey_UK could weigh a set to get an approximate shipping price?

Just out of curiosity for those in the UK, what is the best way to send a box of say 4 or 5 of these to the US? It appears that Royal mail doesnt have a packages option? So would it be Parcel Force (linked to from the RM site)?

Under 2kg or 4lbs ish can be sent via Royal Mail. Select the small packets option.

    2kg is £31.
  • Si_UKNZSi_UKNZ Member Posts: 4,179
12 of them in the TLG outer box is 2.712kg
  • graphitegraphite Member Posts: 3,275
Thanks. I assumed "packets" did not include boxes. I associate packets with like a padded envelope or something.

I'm happy to get these for US friends. There's plenty of US polys I'd like etc... If we get them sent before the end of this month (when postal prices go up) 2kg is £24 with only £50 of insurance. tracking is a fiver.
A single one is probably about £5/$8 to post.
Over 2kg is parcel courier and gets expensive.
  • graphitegraphite Member Posts: 3,275
^ do you know how much 1 weighs? or how many you could get in under the 2kg limit? I am interested and would be willing to buy at least a few and can do the redistribution here to a few people.
  • Si_UKNZSi_UKNZ Member Posts: 4,179
    2.712kg/12
  • graphitegraphite Member Posts: 3,275
^ sorry i didnt see your post above about the weight
  • JenniJenni Member Posts: 1,390
@graphite Let me know if you do that, I'm interested.
  • lulwutlulwut Member Posts: 417
Definitely interested in one of these if they ever get released in the US. Why does Lego use the tow and hitch on every other set?
  • jadedancjadedanc Member Posts: 1,302
@graphite I would be interested as well

If there is a group buy for the US, I'd be interested in joining in on it, otherwise I'll take just one for myself.

Hello there. Resurrecting this thread. Anyone in the US have an extra of these? I'll be in the Czech Republic in March, but that's still not that close to the UK...
