Can someone give me actual dimensions of this set (L x W x H). I would like to get one only if it fits my display case.

Thanks.

I'm just spitballing here as I'm not in front of the set but I'd guess you're looking at 16" deep by 16" wide by 10" high.

Thanks Yellowcastle, but if you can get the actual width and length. My display case depth is 15" 3/8.

Is wing movable or is it fixed? Thanks again for quick reply.

I'm not in front of mine either but counting studs on the side from the back to the green on the front is ~42 studs or 13.125 inches + 3.5-4 for the front guns so Yellowcastle's estimate looks right for length (16-17 inches). The wings I do believe are movable up but where they are in the main image on its page here are the lowest they go as there are underneath supports that keep them there.

If no one else has by the time I get home from work I can measure mine for you.

I don't have the set, but looking at the 2nd instruction book PDF it looks like the wings are attached via a hinge, but are held up by a pair of Technic slopes that protrude from the ship itself. You could probably remove those slopes or otherwise do some modding to make the wings slope down further, reducing the width of the ship. Since the slopes are already hidden under the wings any modding you'd do would likely be pretty nicely hidden as well.

If this is for display, then I would imagine you're going to want the "correct" wing orientation and front guns extended.

Also if you lower the wings at all you'd have to prop the ship up on something. If I remember the wing tips are almost on the same level as the bottom of the ship in their normal position.

I just measured mine length from tip of gun in front to tip of gun in rear is 19.5 inches, width is 16.25 inches, and height is 7.5 inches. I rounded off a little since it is hard to measure exactly due to the contours of the ship. Hope this helps

Let me just add that it is an incredible set IMO. Still one of my favorite SW sets.

I can now have peace of mind knowing, I cannot fit it inside my display case. I can stop obsessing about it too. Thanks Yellowcastle.

^or... you can just get another, slightly larger, display case. Hhmmm obsession...

@LeoNLegos I am unable to display a single SW set in my house. Not even a mini Tie Fighter. Doesn't stop me from having over 600 sets stuffed in the attic.

I would cut a round hole out of the front of the case and let the guns stick out menacingly.

Just get it, you won't regret it!
