GROUP MEETING

Join us for lunch at Sal's Pizzeria, before we head to the South Windsor Public library to hold our group meeting. Please feel free to bring along any friends interested in learning more about our group or that would like to join! We will be conducting a parts draft of 3187 Butterfly Beauty Shop, so please make sure you bring along a copy of the set to the meeting! We will also be conducting a raffle for a $100 LEGO set for all that are in attendance. As always, you are welcome to bring along any MOCs that you'd like to show off or items to trade amongst the other members (such as collectable minifigures). Lastly, we will be talking about our first show in September!

The LUGOCT was formed on November 1st, 2011 by Kevin Hinkle of Manchester, Connecticut. The club shares the love of building by meeting up, putting on shows, and enjoying knowing more people who like to build just like they do.

If you live in Connecticut and are interested in joining us, please visit us on our Yahoo! Group, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lugoct/. Members must either be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent or guardian if under. All are welcome to attend!

Best of luck Kevin! Getting a LUG off the ground isn't easy but 1 dedicated member/founder becomes 2, becomes three and on and on. Have fun!

If I was stationed where my husband currently is, I would have maybe been able to make it but I am in Washington state lol. Kinda too far to drive from here, but hopefully I will get out to that area soon, maybe if Army ever gets me medically retired

    Kevin

As a member of NELUG, I readd about your new group. Rip from NELUG encouraged those of us in Western MA to maybe check LUGOCT out as well as NELUG ... so I'd be interested! I can't make next Sat, as I'll be driving back from a vacation in NC that day.

However, please let me know when the next meeting will be (and I'll also check out your link above).

    Cheers

    Andy

Sounds good Andy, I will definitely let you know when we have another get together! Likewise, I'll be on the lookout for NELUG meetings around my neck of the woods, so I hope to meet you soon. :)
