Hi everyone. Like many of you, an AFOL who came out of my dark ages in my mid-20s. LOVED Legos as a kid in the '80s -- town, space, castle, and especially pirate in the waning days of my "Golden Age." Came back to Lego in the mid-2000s through a combination of Star Wars and the Modulars. I'm a land use geek by day, so the modulars really hit my sweet spot for urban planning. And I'm a geek in general, so the Star Wars theme is fun as well (OT only). Also digging on the DC superheroes -- Superman in Lego form is awesome.

Anyway, love the community here. And you may also find me at the LEGO stores at Potomac Mills, Arundel Mills, and Tysons!

Welcome to the Forum, Dave. I think you'll find that many of us have similar stories in our return from a dark age. :o) There are a couple of us here in NoVA. With Brickfair and 4 LEGO stores, it's definitely a LEGO hotspot. :o)

I'm also in the northern Virginia area and came out of my dark ages about 4 years ago. Welcome to the forum.
