It's a 25% off on these sets. If you buy all of them you can save $30. Not a bad deal.
  • graphitegraphite Member Posts: 3,275
Thanks for the heads up. Have been considering some of these lately since they're always calling out my name as I browse the aisles so I might have to endulge in this.

    Is the deal online?

    Thanks.

Great. I'll put my new Red Card to use.

Just the sale I was waiting. Will pick up three of those sets to finish this one off.

This is just a general observation and not an attack on norm but I wonder how many people actually look up the sets when this type of info is shared. For the original poster it can be annoying to have to list each set by # and name but for everyone else who the original poster is trying to help out they now have to look up each set individually.
  • gmpirategmpirate Member Posts: 1,654
^ For obscure sets like these, yes, but really you only need look up one to figure what they all are.

What annoys me more is to read about someone's great find but not list the location :( Hence, it would be great if under our names it said where we were ;) hint, hint

I checked on Target site and it doesn't reflect the $15 price. It could be in-store or for particular stores.

As per the title, I'm thinking the sale doesn't start till the 25th.

@norm103 Thanks for the heads up. I will be picking up these sets.

For others who find it difficult and time consuming to look up the set numbers......please, submit your complaint and move on.

Thanks for the correction, the dates totally slipped. Eyes read the date, but didn't bother linking the fact that it's next week.

If this deal applies to Target.com as well, I think Amazon would price match with Target and you could get the same items with free shipping and no tax for most states.

As your friendly local AFOL Paramedic I hope everyone will get #4431 the Ambulance set! I've gotten 3 (one for me, 2 for friends so far and will probably grab a few more with this sale, some of the others too. -bill

I was bored so I created a web form that will create bricklink links with set # and title for a list of entered set numbers so when people want to create posts like this they can easily make a list.

    http://www.graphiteindustries.com/mysites/bricksetlink/

The list from the OP's post ends up like this.
    4435 4434 4433 4432 4431 4208

LEGO 4435-1: Car and Camper http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4435-1

    LEGO 4434-1: Dump Truck http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4434-1

LEGO 4433-1: Dirt Bike Transporter http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4433-1

    LEGO 4432-1: Garbage Truck http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4432-1

    LEGO 4431-1: Ambulance http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4431-1

    LEGO 4208-1: Fire Truck http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4208-1

I plan on it. Need to outfit the upcoming hospital. I hope the hospital will be of good size. All the surgeon minifigs I got need to work too =).

^I am also planning to get some ambulances for the hospital, whenever that comes out. I almost got a few from amazon a while ago, but this will be a better opportunity. I will most likely get some of the others as well. Thanks for the info @norm103.

@graphite The edit option is available using the gear button in the top right of the panel after you post. I think it is only available for 6 minutes after you post.

Hmm.. not sure why that link didn't work. Will try again.

Don't count on it. I saw some images of the hospital before it was filed for copyright by LEGO and the hospital did not look big at all. Although the images were a bit blurry I could see a helicopter pad at the top of the building and one small vehicle. It also looked like the hospital only had 2-3 rooms which are terribly small.
  • DougoutDougout Member Posts: 888
^Is this hospital meant to be in the modular theme or is it supposed to be in city?

City theme. I haven't thought about a modular hospital.
  • legomyLEGGOlegomyLEGGO Member Posts: 63
Ya I saw that pic too, and figured it's a standard set. It looked smaller than the standard police and fire stations. Perhaps down the line they'll have a Modular Hospital.

I just realized something.... doesn't the sale kick in for them on 3/24? (Saturday?) Or is that just the day their clearance prices kick in?
  • JenniJenni Member Posts: 1,390
^ target sales are Sunday to Saturday.
  • sonsofscevasonsofsceva Member Posts: 542
Target ad only displays the ambulance and the Ninjago green starter pack on the front page, with a note that other sets are on sale. Then a few pages in has Friends Stephanie's Convertible for 12.99, so the ones listed above aren't explicitly advertised.
  • hoyatableshoyatables Member Posts: 873
Target ad also notes that Creator sets are on sale. (Turn the page.)

If memory serves me correctly it will be about the same size as the LEGO bank currently out..
Heck it may be what is going to take the place of the Bank once it retires

Looks like the sale price is only $18.00 online for most of these sets. That's a bummer. I was really hoping to see some Amazon price matching since the closest Target is about 75 miles from me.
  • The_Brick_BuilderThe_Brick_Builder Member Posts: 658
    ^Yep, only $18.00. At that price I won't bother.
  • ktmoktmo Member Posts: 73
They were $18 in the store. Only the ambulance was $15.

I'm glad I bit the bullet and grabbed a dump truck last night from TRU. I had been planning on just waiting and getting them all from Target. Norm was a little overzealous. ;o)

Whew - glad I didn't get up early and make the drive! :-)
  • LegobrandonCPLegobrandonCP Member Posts: 1,917
Aww... I was really hoping for $15 on all those new City vehicles. Like BrickBuilder said, I wouldn't bother at $18.

Spell checker is not the problem...schools are to blame.

I was disappointed that all those sets weren't $15

^ Some prefer the subtle approach around here, and some prefer the point blank. :)

Cool Cruiser is 47% off on-line.

Remember some Targets have different prices. You'll have to find a Target that sells the set you want at $15, not $18.

Wow, that is an awesome price! You can also save an additional $5 if you spend $50 or more. Search for the coupon on RetailMeNot.
  • cynthilinacynthilina Member Posts: 188
Checked out Target and Major disappointment. Apparently they feel that .50 cents off is a great deal. We have the ambulance at ours for $15.
  • JenniJenni Member Posts: 1,390
Almost all the Friends sets are on sale online. $6 sets are $5, $10 sets are $9, the convertible is $13, the $20 sets aren't on sale, the beauty shop is $20, I don't think the cafe is on sale, the vet is $35, and the house is $60. I am now all set for my daughter's birthday in four weeks.

I missed the Cool Cruiser but I'm not too disappointed :).

The Disney Princess Duplos are on sale as well.
