Piece list / how to build Android Robot

I tried to piece this Robot together using the Pick-a-brick on the LEGO site. There weren't a lot of choices for that particular color, but even if I picked white/black instead I couldn't find all of the pieces.

Anyone have an idea how to get all of these pieces? The arms specifically gave me the most trouble.

This set is quite simple. The part I presume is troubling you is the "Round 2 x 2 x 2 Robot Body ". If you look at this piece, it should become clear how to build and attach the arm. If your still unsure, give a shout.

What other part was hassling you or are you just trying to find the pieces?
Personally I use eBay to buy pieces as the selection is huge. I have never used Pick-a-Brick because the selection is poor and extremely over-priced.

Good luck building the Android Robot/Logo and let us know how it goes!

But it could become an expensive exercise if you can't find all the parts from a single seller.

^ It looks like an official LEGO set. Maybe it was given out to Google employees.

^ Indeed. I've never seen this set at the database. When tylermerrick showed the picture I thought it was a mock.
I'd be interested to know when it was out and who it was available. Anyone have anymore information on this?

I know the woman in the photo, and I met the gentleman in the photo over the weekend. I have inquired about this Android. :)

^ Is that Jenn Wagner (aka The Brick Chick) in the photo?

Yes it is. She now works for the guy in the photo. His name is Steven Canvin. He is the Mindstorms Community Manager. They spoke at out Bricks by the Bay convention over the weekend.

Here is what I have heard so far:

Jenn wrote: "These were used for a promotion last year and we took a few with us to SXSW to add to the robot race track there. I'm not clear on the details, but Steven Canvin is. :-)"
