Awesome, thanks Murphquake! Just took advantage of it to add one to my minifig collection.

Thanks, didn't get my order in before double points expired but since by order was only slightly over $100 I would much rather have this than the $5 in VIP points. BTW, does not have to be star wars stuff you purchase, I just bought some train tracks, PF accys, a couple Easter poly bags and no star wars and the code still worked.

any news if this will be uk too? I certainly hope so.

I didn't actually see the promo code stated, so here it is: “FRA1". If I had any limited edition ones, that I was planning on selling, I would do so now.

    looks like only US promo....

Thanks a bunch Murphquake,i made an order on the morning of the 15th, for my DS.2 days later i hear about this offer and called LEGO, the lady on the phone was more than helpfull, and added a ARF to my order from 3 days ago. Lego Customer Sevice is the best.

shame this is only US & Canada, but just checking ebay, the prices on these are drifting down, with plenty available for circa £18 buy it now, including free shipping to the UK. Much more realistic pricing!
  • murphquakemurphquake Member Posts: 651
@Jonn420 I just did the same!
    @Huw thanks for the s/o!

My first one is here =-) Interesting that the unit & ext. price and subtotal on the invoice is $19.98! Really glad I called and have another that should be arriving in a day or two with my next order. I assembled the little guy in the bag and he looks awesome, but will remain in there until he's needed for the war effort against the shadow separatists =-D

Mine will be here tomorrow, I can't wait.
  • BrickDancerBrickDancer Member Posts: 3,639
I made 3 separate orders just so I could get 3 nice Shadow ARF's. 1 here 2 to go.
  • murphquakemurphquake Member Posts: 651
@BrickDancer I've got too many jobs but 2 or 3 checks will be here this week and each will get an order... actually the main gig I did a day of overtime that will cover all 3 orders so maybe 4 ;-o

@weinner I think you'll be quite pleased, I'm really smitten with mine... even if he has the same voice as all the other clones =-D

@ BrickDancer supposed to be on until the 31st, no? make sure to put the code FRA1 (or FRA2 if you moved to Canada =-)

I'm getting paid in the morning and making another order... and then another when my other check comes... and if i ever go get the one in Far Rockaway that will be 3.... Hurt my paw at work and will be out until next weekend at least so more lego will be very welcome!

My 2nd one came also and it had the price as 34 cents? quite amusing

Sad that I missed this. I put in an order totaling $99.97 on March 13. Had I known, I would have waited and skipped the double VIP. :(

This is pretty curious to me, I got a couple of ARF troopers from Lego.com during the last promotion that offered them and oddly, one had a $9.99 price sticker on it. I can't figure out why?

Is Lego selling these somewhere for $9.99? or were they going to?

    Any thoughts are appreciated.

Lego does give a price to certain promotional sets, I think I remember last years christmas exclusives having the $10 price on them as well.

One has to ask the question of how many they even have available to sell, it doesn't seem that there are that many left, given that they've been unavailable in Europe for almost a year.

Just got off the phone, ordered 4 of them at $9.99 each +tax&post

Hope this doesn't blow up their phone lines...

Damn I tried to get them to send me some and I was told I needed to spend 99 and then its one per order. She did say they have allot left so they may be a VIP special for "May the fourth be with you"

In the fine print is says that the approximate value of the minifigure is $3.99. Go figure.

Am I the only nut here who thinks paying $10 for a minifig is nuts? :)

For $3.99, I'd think about it, for $10, you're crazy!

If they are a promo, that would be nice. :)
  • cynthilinacynthilina Member Posts: 188
They are a promo right now for purchases over $99
  • BrickDancerBrickDancer Member Posts: 3,639
^^But if you can turn around and sell it for $25, wouldn't you want it too?
  • andheandhe Member Posts: 3,943
If you tried to buy 11, would they then sell them, and give you an extra one for free? :s

    $25 is even more crazy...

I get that the chrome C-3PO that was random in the boxes and 1 of 10,000 has some value ($250 is just nuts however...), but this is not limited and it isn't even that "special", at least as far as I can tell.

It is screaming "hey, give me a year, I'll be included in some cheap battlepack soon!"

Of course that's just my opinion and I could be wrong... :)

^ It may be crazy to you, but it's rare enough to be worth $20-$25 to some people - just like the white Boba Fett.

Yea, I know... hey, many people would call me crazy for what I spend money on, so it's all good... :)

I was just offering my opinion... :)

Well I got my shipping notification today, so they are on their way. Guess it's ok for $10. More than I care to pay usually but unique enough that I'll let it slide this time.

Follow-up to my post from March 28 above - I emailed Lego shortly after posting that expressed my sadness about missing that particular promotion. They were awesome enough to send me one for FREE!

No complaints about that kind of customer service!

That's awesome @Zon. In an age were I can't even get my local Burger King to get my order right ONE time, it's great to hear a company treat their customers so well.

Wow awesome story Zon. Proof that TLG has the best customer service.
