    I am sooo stressing. Went to the Lego store in Phoenix today to scope out the Star Wars sets, and they are out of Landspeeders. That was #1&2 on my list to get on May 4. Now I may have to try online at midnight or pick something else.

    The Phoenix store said they are no longer selling them due to space issues.

    Yeah but I pretty much have everything else, plus I was going to put them in the closet for X-Mas. I think I might try my luck online.

    For all of you planing on buying at your local lego store to get the TC-14:

    i was at the store in nuremberg yesterday, and they told me that they had very few of the minifigs, and that one should definitely come before noon to make sure you get one.

    nevertheless, they told me that i could make a reservation and pick it up later that day or even the next day.

    I buy all my Lego tax free, but I collect tax when I resell to someone within my state, as I have a Texas Sales and Use Tax Permit.

    ^ I think that just means you'll get VIP points - like any other purchase.

    ^^^ From past experience, if you are ordering online, you should be fine delaying until the afternoon. If going to a store, be aware that they usually have limited numbers.

    Managed to get the Funhouse escape, Set of SW Magnets, one keyring and the freebies for 50.47. Great deal. The Funhouse I might sell but it has some nice figures :)

    Thanks for the heads up on the Fun House. Been waiting for those to come back in stock.

    Adding non-SW items to hit $75 in the US is working as well. Had a Y-Wing and Fun House in the cart and the TC-14/R2 poster were added.

    I also ordered a funhouse and a bunch of power functions parts for a 7645 Mars Mission set I recently picked up on ebay. If you add enough of the right kind of power functions, they get a 10% discount. The TC14 and poster was added.

    I just ordered 3 of the Avengers sets and poster/TC14 were added. Hope that sticks cause the only SW thing I want is R2 but don't want to spend that much right now since there is hulk figure promotion later this month and sopwith next month and milwuakee store opening, and brickworld discount day. Too many opportunities to spend!

    Same here, got some Funhouses (nice to see they are back in stock) and got the fig and poster.. also picked up some Series 7 while I was at it...
    Got the TC-14 for each order, at least it is showing on the invoice.

    I just do not see anything worth it in SW to buy, Even the IS, while a good price discount. I already got a couple from Amazon when they were dirt cheap, so am much as it pains me Id rather get a lot of stuff instead of investing more in on item, at least I can get a few TC-14's then.

    If anybody is interested, and doesn't want to buy anything/can't see anything they want:

    I will be SELLING TC-14. (UK) I don't have a bricklink store or ebay account, as I'm just a collector, so you can rest assured i'm not into profiteering. (I made two orders, and got two TC14's added, but as I only need one the other is spare. I'm not expecting a lot for it, but would like to get something as a sort of discount on my other purchase - was something I'd been meaning to get for ages, and with free shipping and extra goodies thought now was a good a time as any).

    So, just to reiterate: TC-14 for sale in the UK.

    ^weird, it's all been working perfectly fine for me. And I've been playing around with pick a brick orders, looking at my account settings, and all sorts of shopping basket madness... though i did take the precaution of writing down my order numbers, just in case their database goes on the blink.

    6 orders placed, all pretty small, largest of course is for R2-D2 himself, the rest was for a few odds and ends I had not picked up (8081 Extreme Cruiser for example).

    And yes, I clicked Yellowcastle's link before buying. :)

    So hopefully I have 6 TC-14's coming, one to keep, the others to fund the addiction... :)

    so I made 4 orders one after another, and the difference from the first and last order number is over 7,000,000 - tell me that doesnt mean there has been that many orders in about 30 mins?

    numbers are not sequential. there's likely an algorithm involved that would make it harder for someone to just "guess" at an order number

    Got a couple of orders in just after midnight this morning (in the UK). As others have said, TC-14 promo added just fine for non-SW items. What I'm unclear about is the other promo that gets added "R2-D2 POSTER & TIE FIGHTER", what does the & TIE FIGHTER mean, am I also getting a mini TIE with the order or is just referring to an aspect of the poster, anyone know?

    I bought the 10221 @ 20% off!!! and I will instead wait for the Marvel sets that they get discounted on Amazon.

    ^ Check your credit card balance and see if they got your money.. I have only received a confirmation email for one of my 4 orders but the money sure is missing..

    Have you ever been contacted by [email protected]? When they had the DS on 2x VIP points they called me to ask if it was really me who had ordered it. So "Customer support" may mean that they are going to call you to check if your details are correct.

    I'm not a LEGO SW collector, so I wasn't going to participate in the promotion, but then a couple things happened: I noticed I had a decent stock of VIP credits, and I heard the news that the promos (shipping + poster + chrome minifig) applied even to non-SW orders. So my [email protected] order adds another (small) kick back to Brickset.

    That said, if anyone (in the USA, preferably living on Oahu) wants to buy the chrome minifig from me, please send me a PM.

    iccarus: Did you make a duplicate order? I made 3 orders the same (Avengers stuff - seeing as they brought up the SW freebies) and the first one went through as processing, the 2nd and 3rd are flagged as "customer service". I just rang up and the very helpful lass at Lego thought that maybe it had been flagged as a potential customer mistake to raise 3 of the same order, so they query it to confirm the customer meant to do what they did. She put me on hold to check and confirmed that this is exactly what has happened and then she put a manual note against the 2 orders to confirm that the order was intentional so that whoever progresses them can do so.
