Their warehouse guys must be working overtime at the moment.
True chrome is an absolute pig to keep clean. It has to be polished on a regular basis or else it goes a dull grey and completely loses it's mirror finish.
So, I guess that means I'll walk away w/ a free TC-14...?
What is this tie fighter everyone talks about? I have my posters and my TC-14s, but nothing else. Is something missing?
That poster is one great marketing thing, as much as I love R2 I had every intention of passing on it, and then I got the poster and he looks awesome! So awesome that I want to exchange my French poster for an English one so that I can get all the detail, LOL.
I didn't really want it anyway :p
Anniyingly I opened one of my tc14s and it is pretty scratched :(
Phoned Lego and they offered to exchange it if I sent it back. Not too keen on that idea if they have run out of stock.
Anyone else had this problem?
I must say I am really pleased with all my sets- the boxes are all perfect.

Both my orders arrived yesterday!
"Dear LEGO® fan,
Due to the extraordinary popularity of our LEGO® Star Wars™ May 4th promotion we are experiencing delays in our warehouse.
Your order will be processed as soon as possible and you will receive a shipping confirmation email when it is on its way to you.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused to you and your family. We would like to thank you for your patience.
Kind regards,
Your LEGO Shop at Home team"
Which is interesting, but in my case rather confusing given that I had a 'Order Shipped' notification on 8th May...
Anyone else?
If you are not then something is amiss at the Circle K...
Hang on, gotta go open my present! :)
TC-14 is not on the box, but it is listed as backordered for some reason...
Poster was in the box, number 909 out of 48,480. Anyone get a lower number than that?
Glad the sale was such a huge success. It was my first year participating. Fun times.
Was this an error, or does TLG throw in unexpected freebies now and then?
As I wasn't following this thread as I'm not particularly bothered about the TC-14, just about the rest of my none Star Wars order that LEGO said was delayed by the 4th May Promo...so I was unaware.
"Due to the popularity of the recent Star Wars promotion, we are experience massive delays in our warehouse. You ain't gonna get your package for a loooooong time bitch. Sucks to be you. Thanks for your patience."
I'm more worried about their procedure of charging an account ONLY after the item has been shipped. I prefer to hand over the money as soon as I order, then I don't have to worry about spending it on something else in the meantime (which is a VERY real possibility).
My order received yesterday was missing the TIE. I reckon Lego cannot cope with getting orders out at the moment. I'd prefer them to slow down and get them right, rather than try to get them out as quick as possible and make mistakes.
Speed doesn't matter much if you don't get the orders right.
