Interesting. One of my orders (two in-stock SW items and TC-14) is still "in process." The other (a backordered Sith Infiltrator + nonSW item) is split -- the nonSW item shipped, but the TC-14 is waiting to be shipped with the Sith Infiltrator. Interestingly, the status page also describes the TC-14 as "Backordered."

Got my first order today. Lovely figure. But only admired through the bag for now.

I got an email from TLG saying, "Unfortunately, the item(s) listed below are currently out of stock and it will be a little longer before we can ship them to you." They were of course, referring to my TC-14. :(

My TC-14 is backordered as well. The rest of my order shipped, and I got the e-mail saying TC-14 will be shipped later. I'm glad they didn't just cancel it at least.

^True dat. The free minifig was the whole point of my $320 order. lol
  • monkeyhangermonkeyhanger Member Posts: 3,170
3 of the 6 orders I placed have arrived, along with the TC-14s, posters and polybag Ties. It would appear that the freebies for the OOS R2 are on their way, which leaves a PAB order and a "normal" order.
  • monkeyhangermonkeyhanger Member Posts: 3,170
My posters read 4000ish of 20398. I assume the 20398 is number of posters made for Europe in English language.

I'm sad. I never got that figure and now I have to watch with me shaking my fist at the prices that it will rise to D:

Haha! Agreed. I'm getting a little nervous that they're just gonna send me the poster and a little hand-writted note saying "You got burrrned, SUCKAH!".

My order arrived today and they included a Battle of Naboo which I neither ordered nor want.

Oh well good excuse to go to the LEGO store to return it.

Wha?! Did you use the "R" word?! You got free Lego... If I were you I'd start thinking up an alibi and cover story, just incase they ask for it back.

I say that based on the assumption that you didn't pay for it. If you did, then yeah. "R" the hell out of it!

I have a seperate order showing on my Lego.com account for one of whatever that number represents. I did NOT order it and I'm not being charged for it... Doesn't give any description of the item besides the number.

Could it perhaps be my VIP card? Any light you guys can shed would be appreciated. The suspense and wonder is literally killing me.
  • JenniJenni Member Posts: 1,390
I don't want free LEGO, I want a completely clear conscience when they question my missing part reports. It's hard to be quite so indignant about those insinuations if you've actually done something wrong.

BTW my shipping notification email for that package just arrived.

I got two of my orders.. one box had the poster smeared all over the bottom of the box, beat up needless to say and torn a bit.. not sure if LEGO can do anything though, but I will contact CS none the less.
  • khmellymelkhmellymel Member Posts: 1,314
^ I contacted Lego this morning about swapping the French poster I received for an English one and they said they were going to ship an English one out to me right away. I checked my Lego account after my exam and there's a new order for just the poster (and tie polybag? I guess it's considered one "item" in their system) already.

Pretty awesome service, I must say! I didn't even call them, only had time for a quick email. I'm impressed.

I don't know but I got exactly the same on mine. I didn't order anything either. I wondered if it was due to missing VIP points as I complained about this, but I got the points credited a full two weeks before the order number appeared in my account. So if anyone knows, I'd like to know too!

I'm not paying 26 pounds for a figure, maybe 10 but not any more
  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,556
^ I doubt they will come down that low. If you really want one, I'd get one in the next few weeks when eBay / bricklink gets saturated with them. I reckon some people will accept £15 - this is about 30% off £50 order (not including ebay/BL fees) so an acceptable discount, especially if the seller got 10% or 20% off their original purchase. I cannot see them going below that, and only rising longer term.
  • SherlockbonesSherlockbones Member Posts: 411
I might buy it if it's 15 but no more then that
  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,556
Some people (me included) will hold. Others will go in for the quick buck. It should drop lower than £20 as soon as everyone gets their orders and some decide to cash in quick.

Interestingly, my PAB order has already shipped, but my TC-14 is still on backorder.
  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,556
I've got my second PAB order today, with the TC-14 in a separate delivery, but not my first PAB order. The first was made at 12.03am, so I must have been one of the first! The second was at least 12 hours later.

I also note that Lego have sold out of the black Sith hoods on the UK PAB site now. They were a bargain at 16p each. I hope I get mine in my first PAB order.

I gotta say, having had one of my orders arrive today, that the TC-14 fig is absolutely beautiful..

I will not be surprised in the slightest if this fig stays at a high price, even during the ebay flood. (i'm already wishing i'd made more than two orders - to keep them all myself).

Made 6 orders totalling $820. I received all my orders and 6 TC-14's. My Imperial Shuttle was crushed and practically destroyed. My SSD was placed on top of TC-14 and therefore it was pushed into my box and damaged the front of the box. One of the planets was torn and one of my Marvel sets was crushed as well. I never have had such a problem.
  • PlayftlPlayftl Member Posts: 178
I'm really disappointed with Lego shipping to be honest. Something is always wrong with my order one way or the other.
  • mattheww888mattheww888 Member Posts: 87
I've never had a problem with Lego shipping. Pitfall69's issues are pretty severe and I'd be pissed. But in my experience, the problems are with the carriers (Fedex in particular).
  • Pitfall69Pitfall69 Member Posts: 11,454
I'm not keeping any of these sets for resale, but it would be nice to have decent boxes.
  • dougtsdougts Member Posts: 4,110
I can honestly say every package I have ever gotten from Lego S@H has been excellently packaged and delivered in pristine condition. I guess it's a YMMV situation...
  • Pitfall69Pitfall69 Member Posts: 11,454
This is the first time this has ever happened to me. Makes me question if the TC-14 figures were worth it now. The figures are great I have to admit.
  • parkerwilsonparkerwilson Member Posts: 142
Received some of my orders yesterday, oddly 1 of the orders with 2 fun houses in the same box, both fun house boxes were crushed but the outer shipping box was in perfect shape

I've had that happen once with Lego, I just went to my local Lego store and they changed it out.

I received about a dozen orders today from Lego, all arrived perfectly, so they do it right most of the time. :)
  • PlayftlPlayftl Member Posts: 178
Just bad luck on my part then -_- both of my fun houses are crushed too actually
  • monkeyhangermonkeyhanger Member Posts: 3,170
Excellent and sturdy boxing from TLG for my orders - it would take some serious mishandling in transit to damage the actual boxed product inside. Maybe it's a regional thing - with TLG UK I have never had a battered order (maybe I spoke too soon with 3 orders still waiting?).
  • SpaceCakeSpaceCake Member Posts: 291
Am I correct in thinking that they will replace a set that is damaged in transit? Even if the damage is only present on the packaging?
  • JP3804JP3804 Member Posts: 332
^ Yes or offer a discount if you keep it. One of my orders had the shadow troopER instead of the 6 TC-14
  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,556
Has anyone (UK) not received the TIE fighter. I got the R2D2 poster but no TIE in my first package to arrive. They are meant to be a single item / order code.

I just got my first TC-14, R2D2 poster and Tie which were from my Pick a Brick order. All came together, from Germany. There was a large knife slash through the top of the jiffy bag and through the order note, but thankfully TC-14 was safe inside.
  • mcvitiemcvitie Member Posts: 292
I bet lego are working over time! They must have taken some right wonga though during the offer. My 3 boxes have arrived but im work. im dreading opening them when i get in
  • BuriedinBricksBuriedinBricks Member Posts: 1,367
Hmm, just realized I did not get the TIE fighters. Not a huge deal, as the TC-14 was my main concern and both arrived. I did get the R2 posters though.

^ Yep was a bit odd - definitely a stanley knife or something as the cut is very clean and went though the paper and bubble wrap of the envelope and the order details note. About 15 cm long, just the size of the polybag??? Because of the issue below I phoned Lego and mentioned the cut - just incase anyone is actually missing their TC-14.

My second order and TC-14 just arrived with the lego, bizarrely I got the french R2D2 poster (as someone mentioned before). Oddly it was shipped from the UK where as the one I got earlier that was shipped from germany had the English poster.

Come again.... lol confused like an article on Europe politics which translates as F.U.B.A.R !!

^ for some reason lego UK sent me a French r2d2 poster. Yet the lego parcel that game from Germany managed to send the right (English) poster.

So I actually never read, is it proper chrome or is it just painted on?
