While browsing the Macy's website today, I noticed there were some not spectacular but still decent deals on LEGO:
Lego - Macy's (macys.com)

#11695 World Map for $212
#76909 Speed Champions AMG Mercedes for $25 (I've not seen on sale anywhere before)
#76907 Lotus for $16
#60197 Passenger Train for $136

As part of the TRU at Macy's "Grand Opening", there will be a couple days with Lego-related events for kids.  The main Lego day is Saturday, the 22nd.  A second day is earlier, on Monday, the 17th.  Unfortunately, Macy's website doesn't specify the Lego "giveaways".
Here's the list of Macy's locations with TRU sections.

(oh, and the Little People day looks cute - for the one year old - and the STEM mini dig kit day looks cool for the older kids!)

Glad I didn't bother heading over to see if this childless retiree could get one.

Apparently today's staff was not properly briefed on today being the last day of the promotion.  However, we did still walk out with a random CMF from Series 22 and a Pokemon fun pack containing 3 cards.  What's interesting is the random CMF...all 3 (I have 3 kids) were the Snow warrior dude with the shield, sword, and husky.  Wonder if it was somehow a poor seller or perhaps they just happened to grab three.

The store near me let me take whatever I wanted.  I didn’t get greedy but did find some polybags that I didn’t already have.  They had a play mat for kids and also filled little LEGO bags with a CMF, a Star Wars poster and a polybag from the LEGO movie. Definitely worth the trip.

@jmeninno, on ebay the Snow Warrior seems to be the most popular from that series and the most expensive. Was my favorite from Series 22 which is why I have been looking.

Oh interesting.  I (stupidly?) let the kids open them all lol.  It was for the kids...right?  That's what I'm telling myself, haha.
