Alternate Build Instructions for Lego Sets

Looking for a site or knowledge to obtain build instructions for alternative model creation in older sets like Harry Potter and Batman. Ex Batman 7783 has an alternative build for vehicles and bad guy buildings in back of instruction manuals, where could I get directions to build this and many alternative shown in older sets. Anyone?
