New Pick a Brick Standard Elements Offline

Maybe this is a US only issue but I got this message stating that Standard Elements will be offline until May. Does anyone know if this was this a planned outage?

    A backlog of orders I heard. Seems that far more people are aware of/talk about the service now, so whether its a genuine increase in orders, or a result of the new system.

    Orders for standard parts were taking 5-6 weeks for delivery. The last one I received certainly did. Ordered parts last week just before they halted it, so guessing I'll just need to wait.
