Total owned+wanted by everyone

OneIsLitOneIsLit Member Posts: 4
Hello,

In a custom query, I would like to add a computed column but I do not believe that is possible.

There already exists a "Total owned+wanted by everyone" column or order by.  However, I think it would be more interesting to see an exclusivity ratio.  Namely, the division of these two values.  E.g. I recently obtained a set with a low total owned value that is roughly 10% of the total wanted value. So a small "total owned / total wanted by everyone" value would be something of an indicator for exclusivity. Perhaps there is a more interesting "exclusivity" metric, that also would not suffer from divide by zero issues?

Thanks,
-petri

Exclusivity is given by the total owned, that's it.  If only 1 person owns a set, it's really exclusive.  What people want doesn't factor in this at all.

What I think what you're looking for is more akin to "resell ability", because you want to see few numbers of owners but also great desire for the set.  Which is something you'd only care about if you wanted to gauge prices for reselling, wouldn't it?

Use the highest value of total wanted/total owned, but obviously, you don’t care about anything that no-one owns, so no divide by zero problem.

I proposed something like this over 3 years ago.  The idea wasn't well received.
