I've been out of my Dark Age a couple years now, and have been a member of BrickLink for over 2 years and Eurobricks for several months now. I've been lurking hear and read the forums several times a week, so I decided to finally sign up :)

I got my first LEGO set at the age of 6 back in 1975, and went into my Dark Age about 1990 - 2009. Now I have far more LEGO stored away than I will ever have time to build or space to display !

Have some pics of unfinished MOCs and some of my finds at https://secure.flickr.com/photos/spacefan6901/

Thanks for being here, this site is a great reference and LEGO news site.

I live in Orange County (the one just north of Rockland County). It is a bit of a hike to get to closest LEGO store in West Nyack, but at least I am luckier than some that are really far away... an hour drive is not so bad in comparison. I was a bit adventurous yesterday on my day off and drove down to the Bridgewater NJ store (not adventurous enough to try Garden State Plaza / Paramus NJ store on a Friday) for my first visit there; it has a really large PaB wall, although they told me they are running a bit light on different elements until next order comes in, but I was happy to spend 90 minutes packing some cups with what they still had.

@spacefan6901 - Very cool. Always nice to see another New Yorker...
I'm all the way down in Suffolk County, and even though I'm about an hour further away than any of the other guys in the group, joining ILUGNY has been loads of fun.

Check out the site, and if you're interested, look into attending one of our meetings or events.

Our next public event will be at Lyndhurst Castle in late April. You should definitely come by and check it out!
