UK/EU Bricklink Cyber security alert 14/3

The Bricklink homepage was updated with this graphic on the 14/3:

Stay vigilant folks. Bricklink hasn't identified the 3rd party, which I would take to mean either something to do with the hosting or payment systems.

    They have recently starting using a "partner" to calculate VAT for the UK and for the EU when ordering outside those areas (as well as something similar for the US sales tax). As they are blocking all non-UK to UK sales and non-EU to EU sales (see the updated site message), where this VAT calculation service would be needed, I wonder if it is that company that has had the data leak.

    The notice has turned from red to green and they say no user data was hacked this time.
