Anyone modified, or have ideas on how to, flower stems to keep leaves from moving?

On the flowers I have made so far (roses, sunflowers and tulips) the leaves on the stems spin around and end up looking awful.  I would like to fix them in place.  Any ideas?

Thanks Much,
Lois

How are the leaves attached to the stems? Are you using technic pins? A picture would help illustrate.

If you are using technic pins, there are friction pins available that can reduce spinning

For the red roses and sunflowers you could replace the 3L technic axle (4519) with technic, axle 1L with pin 2L with friction ridges (11214) then attach technic pin connector round 2L with slot (62462) in dark green. Then use technic, axle 1L with pin with friction ridges (43093) and continue with the rest of the stem as per the original instructions. The whole stem would still be dark green and the smooth portion is barely noticeable. Part 62462 in dark green is readily available on BL.
