LEGO Brick Labels, v38 update includes labels for 1500 unique parts!
It's been a while since I've shared my progress with Brickset readers, but I thought that the most recent update to my LEGO Brick Labels collection might be of interest for a few reasons...
LEARN MORE AND DOWNLOAD AT https://brickarchitect.com/labels/What's New in this update:- I'm excited to announce that this update adds 76 new labels, so the collection has surpassed 1500 unique labels for the first time...
This includes labels for the top 1000 Most Common Current LEGO parts.
- I'm also confident that there are plenty of Classic 1980's LEGO fans out there... That's why my most recent update includes labels for the top 150 most common parts from that decade.
Hop in your Delorean to revisit the decade of greed in my related article highlighting the Most Common LEGO Parts & Colors — 1980’s Edition.
As always, I'm eager to learn about how you use these labels or other labeling methods to organize, sort, and store your LEGO Collection... Leave a comment below!
Sincerely,
—Tom Alphin

It's another way to share the hobby with others, so I'm very appreciative of all the work that goes into making the labels. Thank you Tom!
Thank you for your continued work to better the LEGO community!
The rare moment of frustration for me sorting is when it's a part that isn't clear to me in what category I should sort it into when I can't find it in the contact sheet. Where should I put it so I'd actually find it again later? I have to resort to searching Brickset/Bricklink to figure out what category I should put it in. So it's awesome to see the numbers of labels growing.
One question I haven't been able to figure out. Has Tom removed labels in the past? In particular retired labels? I believe last version, V37 was the first one to put "retired" labels at the back of the contact sheet by themselves. I'm glad they are there so as I sort I can figure out where it belongs even if it's retired. Hope that continues. Once a label is created, why not keep it in there.
Great job Tom!
Nothing has been removed over the years (unless a few minor parts were removed in the first year or so). I am planning to continue maintaining the "retired" folder so people who have been collecting for a very long time have labels for those older parts, too.
