The London Transport Museum Depot Brick Show returns.
If you're not familiar with this event; the London Transport Museum has a facility in West London (opposite Acton Town Tube Station, just off the beginning of the M4), since their principal museum in Covent Garden is a bit tight on space. At the Acton Depot is their extensive artefact collection; including whole trains, signs, ticket booths, buses, fabrics, etc. and we have our show in the open spaces amongst them. The admission revenue generated from the visitors helps to fund the museum and their continued work to rescue, preserve and educate-about London's transportation history.
The date has moved forward to the first weekend (2-3) of July for this year, and we hope to build on the success of last year's magnificent effort by the AFoLs exhibiting.
As previously, it's a two day show; with setup either on Friday afternoon or Saturday early morning, plus optional social dinner on Saturday evening. Any family-friendly MOC content is welcome, though given the venue if we are pressed for space; priority will have to be given to transport/railway/London themed MOCs.
Hopefully we'll be able to have more exhibitors this year, plus traders, and a few volunteers are always useful. Single-day attendees will be considered too.
