Thanks to my childhood, the original bluecoats and redcoats were favored heavily in my house. I understand they aren't necessarily on the same team, but I liked both equally. 

I miss my childhood Pirates (and castle) *insert crying emoji here*

I gotta go Bluecoats too. Tho I feel like the generation that followed the redcoats, which I guess is based off the Spanish armada (?), doesn't get nearly enough love.

My older sister got the bluecoats and I ended up with the redcoats - now you all suffer with my redcoat builds :D

These are all really well done!

My favourite official Lego one is the original Bluecoats.

 I like the colour blue and my 'navy' is made up of 2015 Bluecoats and some old bluecoats I got in a haul, as well as some old red coats (I made the red coats the army, manning the artillery in the fort, while the 2015 blue coats are Marines and the original blue coats are the officers.)

I made a custom Austrian naval ship, the Princess Rahel, using the Black Seas Barracuda, and I was very happy that the old blue coat uniform is reasonably similar to the Austrian uniforms of that period.

As for the picture, I like the white and the two green versions. Dark red is good too. Black makes me think of highwaymen, while the yellowish orange and brown just don't look right, in my opinion.
