The LEGO Technic Motorized Excavator (8043) has been reduced to $170.90 at Target.com. If you use the $5 off $50 coupon at RetailmeNot.com and use your Red Card you can reduce your price to $157.60. Also if you have a Discover card log into Shop Discover after using the Retailmenot coupon for an additional 5% cashback ($7.88). Of course do not pay with your Discover card but use your Red Card. Oh and the Red Card gives you free shipping. And if you are lucky enough to live in a state tax free state like I do, then you pay zero tax. I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger on the Toys R Us BOGO since this deal is 25.1% off with all the discounts and I don't have to buy two items. Storage space is at a premium at my house today!

Amazon has dropped their price to $170.90 too. For me, with close to 10% TN sales tax :-(, Amazon is a slightly better deal.

Why not just wait for the next BOGO???

And, why doesn't 8043 show up in the Brickset Amazon link?

^ Is this why it isn't showing up? From another thread where I was asking why it wasn't showing for Diagon Alley...

Set availability is highly variable across the six different Amazon sites we link to and keeping tabs on all the sets is a challenge. If ever you guys come across sets which are available on any of the six Amazon sites but aren't included in the Bargain Watch listings then please let me know and I'll get them added.

@gmpirate TRU is currently out of stock. Also, the BOGO is 25% off (1-(199.99+99.99)/400) while this deal is equally as good at 25.1% off with all the discounts.

@clocked I'll trade you my state income tax for your 10% state sales tax. I lived in TN and loved paying no state income tax.

^^ It will be back in stock and they will do more BOGO's . . .

Didn't add up all your discounts but I don't normally get into combining all those different discounts :P

Anyway, still curious why this set doesn't show up in our Amazon link?

^^ I hear ya @bri4jenn :-) They're building an Amazon distribution center in TN, so unfortunately, we'll be paying sales tax on Amazon purchases soon. I think that begins next year. :-(

^^ @gmpirate as mentioned above. I THINK you need to ask drdavewatford to add it. But, I may be mistaken. Concerning the Amazon price graph, etc. I don't think all sets are automatically included.

We don't have to worry about getting a set from the initial (bad) batch, do we? Target would have sold out and restocked this set several times, I imagine.
