When sending a DM, I'm getting this after hitting 'send message':

...and then after waiting for the minute it looks like this:

Has happened twice. Anyone else had the same?

Tell me more about 'shirty'. is that an auto-correct thing or a britishism? :)

It's still happening! @Huw, any ideas why? I'm on an ipad running safari.

@Bumblepants, yes, britishism, probably from "keep your shirt on" meaning "calm down"... someone getting shirty is being irritable.

FWIW I've sent a few DMs this aft, and didn't get that message - on desktop, with Chrome.

It looks like you are accidentally hitting send and sending multiple messages while writing it.

Nope, I had finished the message each time. Then one click on the "send message" - everything else it was doing all by itself.

The error has cleared up for now though.

I wonder if something went wonky with your draft auto-save function.  You wouldn't get the multiple post error / spam error if the Forum didn't think you were making fast, successive posts.
