Hello community,

My name is Jake and I come from Belfast. I’m a small business owner — to be precise, I run a car repair shop. I’ve always been into cars and I just couldn’t think of doing anything else other than being a mechanic.

Now, how have I ended up here? Well, I’ve been through turbulent times which have left some consequences on me and my life. I got divorced two years ago, and, to be honest, I still can’t recover from it. As a comfort and escape from my sadness, I started gambling.

In the beginning I frequented brick-and-mortar casinos, then switched to online when the pandemic started. And I have to say that the latter were a nuisance compared to the former for several reasons. I have to dig through a pile of casino reviews to find the one that will suit my needs and requirements. For some reason, I was drawn to this one [betting site URL removed] so I decided to give it a go.

And I regretted it. Not because of the casino, but because of the fact that I got seriously hooked. It took a while before I admitted I had a gambling problem. I started going to psychotherapy to help me deal with my problems. Following my therapist’s advice, I took up a new hobby — collecting Lego blocks. Up to now, I had no idea how therapeutic this can be. So again, thank you Lego for helping me get my sh** together.

How about you guys? How did you get into Lego? Share in the comments, I’d like to get to know all of ya!

I am genuinely confused about this post. I mean, that's a fair amount of oversharing and yeah, the spamming of that site name. Just bizarre. Sorry mate.

Odd that someone from Belfast sets their location to a lignite mining town in Germany 🤔

I'm not sure how collecting LEGO will be any less expensive than a gambling problem...

I gamble on bulk lots of Lego.  Sometimes I get lucky and end up with a Roller Coaster. Sometimes I'm stuck with a bin full of Mega Blocks.

I've been known to gambol from time-to-time ;-) mostly when I've bought LEGO, it has to be said.
