Hello folks who are either in Edinburgh or can make it to Edinburgh.
We restarted the Edinburgh AFOL Gatherings last month and managed a nice turn out. We'll be running them for 2 mroe months this year on the last Tuesday of the month. So that's the 26th October and 30th November.
These are evenings open to all AFOLs (you don't need to be a LUG member or anything). They are held in the same venue as before - The Counting House, 38 W Nicolson St, Edinburgh EH8 9DD.
It's a very relaxed event, just an opportunity to meet and chat all things brick and normally plenty of other off topic things as well. We start at 7pm and run until about 10pm. No need to arrive on time just rock up when you can.
A few notes however. The Room we have is up two flights of stairs and is not accessible by wheelchair please take that into account.
Due to the continuing Covid-19 Restrictions masks will be required to be worn unless seated or vertical drinking.
You will be able to order at the bar as usual but masked.
You will also require to check in using the Check in Scotland QR codes provide for Test and Protect.
There will also be hand sanitiser provided upon arrival.
Also please remember other attendees might have a different level of comfort with Covid-19 mask and social distance so please be respectful of their wishes.
