Longtime Lego lover and back after 25 years!

Hi there Brickset peeps. Because of my Seinfeld obsession, I found myself purchasing 21328 - Seinfeld and this completely turned me back on to my childhood obsession, Lego's. Now I'm going down a rabbit hole to figure out what I've missed over the last 25 years; quite a bit! And yep, the sets have not gotten any cheaper!

Anyways, below are pics from my recently purchased set and would love to take any unused sets off your hands. Let me know if you have any for sale!

Yep... this is not going to end well. Just ordered Police Station - 10278 to go along with the neighborhood. Considering adding Assembly Square - 10255, but need to keep sneaking these into the house in small quantities! :)

Assembly Square is fab. I've nearly bought it and I really don't care for modulars.

Ah, the last few modulars....also the ones I haven't built yet!  I'd also recommend Assembly Square.  It's amazing.  If you like modulars, you might want to consider Ninjago City Gardens, though that doesn't exactly fit in the "small quantity" category.

Enjoy rediscovering LEGO all over again!

Assembly Square is definitely on the list... and potentially Roller Coaster. Now I just need to find a bank to rob... :)

I've briefly seen the Ninjango's and they look amazing. I'll start looking further into them. Thanks!

Welcome back.  Since you've got a lot of shopping to do, I'll recommend learning about ways to get deals on Lego.  Maximum patience for minimum spend!

Sets under $100 should always be 20% off at all retailers besides Lego.  Buying in store from Target is great because it avoids damaged boxes from Amazon shipping.  Target also has a loyalty card which can help.  Bricklink has an Amazon discount tracker which helps reveal when sets are discounted more than 20%.

Buy from Lego.com and in store when they're offering double VIP points (10% back instead of typical 5%) which typically happens for a few days during March, July, Oct, Nov, Dec.  Or buy from Lego when they offer a gift with purchase which you could resell to recover cash.

During Black Friday, I've seen modular buildings and other large sets on discount at Lego.com and Amazon if you time it right.  However, shipping and delivery workers are rushed during Black Friday, so you're more likely to get damaged boxes.

Good luck, don't go too nuts, and I hope you find the deals.

@FireFox31 - Thanks a bunch man! Wow, sounds like you know all the in's and out's of efficient purchasing! Maximum patience is needed... I'm on the hunt for decommissioned modular sets and while it's not impossible, it's just as costly (if not, more)!

Is it true that Lego reveals the new modular set for the next year on Black Friday? I thought I saw somewhere they reveal on Black Friday and you can pick up (if you pre-order) on January 1st. Also heard rumors that this years modular is going to be a hospital or medical center of some sort.

Thanks again for all the tips!

Officially running out of space... maybe I can fit one more modular on the TV stand before I need to start moving furniture.
