Which BLDP Round 2/3 Set Do You Most Intend to Buy?

We haven’t tried one of these in the forum for a while so here goes nothing.

We’re unfortunately limited to 10 choices and I had to use 2 for NONE and OTHER.  As such, I just guessed on what I thought might be the most popular Bricklink Designer Program sets.  Additionally, I tried to word this very specifically as “favorite” wouldn’t necessarily imply intent to purchase.  Additionally, “Intent” can be colored by price point and round.  There are many I might buy but final cost and competing sets could tip them one way or another.  As such, my choice here will be the one set that I don’t feel price or round will affect and will likely not actually be my favorite.

Very interesting so far!  30% of respondents won’t likely be participating in the BLDP.  And then of the remaining voters, 90% have selected one of the 8 sets that made the list.  And Winter Chalet is unsurprisingly off to an early lead.  A lovely set with great detail is also buoyed by general love of all things Wintery and Holiday-y. :o)

Wow, lots more votes but the results mostly maintain.

~30% of respondents will not be participating in Rounds 2/3
~85% of the remaining votes are going to 1 of the 8 listed sets
~Winter Chalet continues to lead 🥇 the Mountain Windmill but nostalgia and celestial tracking are making their push 🏇 as the 1959’s Diner, Bowling Alley, Observatory and Seasons Calendar are all right behind that windsock in a tie for 3rd place.🏆

I think we’ll hold the poll open for another day and then count our chickens. 🐓

It all depends on the price but the one I want the most is the Modular Construction Site. Second choice is probably the Ruined House. But if the rumors are tre that the instuctions will be avavble later I moght not buy any more sets.

I voted Observatory but there are a few others I'm also interested in depending on prices.

I also voted for the Mountain View Observatory, which is the one I wanted the most when the sets were chosen for the Bricklink Design Program.  Modular Construction Site would be my second choice, Followed by Brickwest Studios (though I mostly want that one for all the movie set elements).

It really depends what the pricing is like tbh. None of them stand out to me like the Castle and Kakapo did in the first round. The Observatory looks quite good too, but it's a bit too modular-like (without being a modular) for me.

Modular Construction Site is my number one.  The Bowling Alley might fit as well, depending on the final build (I hope it's modular compatible).  Might be tempted by the Lego Store, but it's not modular quality quite yet.

• 74 participants
• 24% won’t be participating in BLDP Round 2/3
• For those who will be participating, Winter Chalet takes the cake at 21% distantly followed by Observatory and Windmill
• Additionally, 20% of those who will be participating will be pursuing one of the other sets not listed
