Can someone help me understand these prices from BrickLink?

Lego.com sells this for $250 USD. Is it due to inflation/deflation or some other currency related issue?  What's the deal with Hong Kong?  Is it much cheaper in the mainland and they buy it there?

I’d be a bit suspicious of authenticity. I have no idea what the local exchange rate is though.

Our "polish ebay" has a few offers from big online sellers (legit stores) at 750-800 PLN (so roughly 200 bucks), some with 20+ stock. No idea where those prices are coming from, but it's not just this one seller.

you will pay VAT on it when it arrives in the country so any saving is reduced!

There are a few lego certified stores in HK that can set their own prices, discounted from lego's RRP. That might be the source of these.
