Uses LEGO "standardized" box sizes?

I wonder why the entry "dimensions" in the database contains slightly different entries. Are there no fixed standards in the world of lego boxes? For example:

https://brickset.com/sets/40370-1 (26 x 13.8 x 7.1 cm)

https://brickset.com/sets/40416-1 (26 x 13.9 x 7.2 cm)

The height and the deep differs by 1 mm but seems to be almost the same... Are there no fixed "presets" for the people who enter the data?

Probably there are only 20 or 30 different box sizes...

Many of the dimensions have been converted from inches at different times using a different method which has probably resulted in rounding differences.
