Sticker Printing

TheFewTheFew EnglandMember Posts: 1,740

I am building a moc (someone else's) and need to print some stickers from a .pdf.

I don't have a printer and have never done this sort of thing... so I was wondering if you guys print your own (and if so how) or if there is some form of online service that you use?

Not sure I am able to buy a printer just for this, but the wife did want a photo printer, so maybe this affords me the excuse.

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

    It's a lot of work!

Really, any regular inkjet printer can print passable LEGO stickers for use in your own collection. Once people start seeing your very cool stickers, you might get roped into making more stickers and selling them--and then you have to worry about color matching, using the best types of paper, etc.

If you have a local print shop, they can probably print the file onto adhesive vinyl or sticker paper for a few dollars/pounds.

Personally, I use a Canon iX6820, a Silhouette Cameo cutting machine, and PPD Gloss Inkjet vinyl or InkPress Adhesive vinyl depending on the colors I'm printing.

Ha ha. Thanks for the thoughts. If it is a lot of work then its probably not for me. At the moment I have limited time and patience to learn new things, and that will be after the initial outlay on a new printer!

Guess I will need to find someone who can print them for me!
