Planning train layouts with SCARM?

PDelahantyPDelahanty Northern CaliforniaMember Posts: 79
I just came across Windows-only software to plan model railroad layouts called "SCARM" (Simple Computer Aided Railway Modeller).  I see they have libraries for "Lego L 9V", "Lego L RC", and "Lego L Streets".  (No Duplo.)  I'm assuming that the "Lego L Streets" library is road plates.

I'm curious if anyone has tried it. I have a Mac, so I'm wondering if it's worth the effort of trying an emulator.

I have not use this software, but it looks like it is spread across Internet a bit (going back several years). There are lots of layout plans on Pinterest and other sites…

I've never heard of BlueBrick before.  From the screenshot, that looks like exactly what I'm looking for!  I'm tired of having to plan my layout in a Google Spreadsheet.  This should help a lot!  Thanks!

You're welcome.  Many of the third party track vendors have packs so you can add their stuff to BlueBrick.  Makes it super easy to incorporate the larger radius curves.

Is this SCARM for some sort of nuclear train? XD
