Can't decide - Haunted House or Corner Garage

I am a collector of the modulars back to Cafe Corner.  I just find the Garage ugly.  For $50 more, I can buy the Haunted House which looks very cool.

In essence, it's all about the retirement date.  I can buy the other one later down the road.  Without a doubt I'll l be buying the Police Station.  If anyone has any words of advice, I'd greatly appreciate it.  I can afford a $200 set once or twice a year.

As this is really just a personal decision, we generally discourage these types of threads. I would recommend reading the reviews of each set on Brickset to help you make this buying decision.  Additionally, discontinuation date expectations are at best a guess, especially during the global pandemic.  There is an ongoing discussion on discontinuation predictions that also might be of some assistance.  Thanks.
