If you designate which sets are new and which are used on the sets owned part of brickset, the collection valuation feature will give you a ballpark.

Used sets can vary pretty significantly based on condition, box/instructions included, any missing pieces etc. so checking BrickLink will be more accurate but it is at least a start.

Does the collection valuation on BS really take new vs. used into account? If so, which used value? And which new value for that matter? I guess I always assumed it was just the sum total of RRP for all my sets. @Huw?

If you just look at your sets owned info it will give you value based on RRP, but right below that there is an option called collection valuation that will give you a more accurate valuation based on BrickLink average sale price in the last 6 months for either new or used if you have updated your collection to be accurate.

Obviously BrickLink doesn’t take into account sales for used sets that are incomplete or in poor condition and your used sets may be worth more than average if you still have the box and or instructions but it’s at least a place to start.

Wow, thanks for pointing that out! It’s amazing how many features are packed into Brickset :)

That view also allowed me to find several sets that showed I owned a new set in addition to a used, when that was not the case :)

    Hi,
But price is shown on sets here in brickset, value new & value used, when you look at set by set.
But not in the total valuation list.

Enable collection management and valuations feature here https://brickset.com/profile/listpreferences, mark the sets you own used using the new checkbox, then https://brickset.com/mycollection/sets/valuation will show you a figure.

I plan to enhance that page at some point to enable grouping, sub-totals etc.

As stated above the values are from BrickLink as provided by the site's API but don't always seem to tally with the figure shown on the site for some reason.
