New product launches at LEGO.com

A number of new products are being launched at LEGO.com on Monday, 26th April, including the new Star Wars helmets and Imperial Probe Droid.

It is unfortunate, then, that LEGO has claimed that they are 'limited stock' in its email marketing. It's impossible for us to know whether they are indeed in short supply, or whether it's just marketing hyperbole to encourage us to order them early.

So, will you order them now, or risk it and wait until the May the Fourth promotions commence next weekend?

    I think both statements can be true:

    LEGO would like to hype these sets for a first day sellout.

    LEGO would like to set expectations that the sets will sellout the first day due to limited stock.

    Of course they wouldn’t be as limited if they hadn’t been selling them for the past 2 weeks...

    Of course they will be sold out of anything anyone wants for Star Wars day so we all buy 3 Action Battle Spring Loaded Hoth sets at 30% off to clear the warehouse.
