Lego Prototypes

Ah, wish they released the sets as this very consistent theme instead of what I guess became Aquazone?

There was also the "Seatron" monorail to go with it. And this little guy with interesting minifig parts (especially the flippers/feet, with the antistud hole cut into them)...

I guess they realised it is better to use slip on armour instead of ridged torsos  for things like this.

Yeah, love the monorail prototype, it looks so perfectly weird. Still like that minifigs head though.

Good old Seatron! If LEGO had a mind to create a new space theme with classic vibes, this would be it.

I saw a prototype Seatron minifig sell on eBay a while back. I can't find the original listing, but here's an article I found on it with photos. https://minifigpriceguide.com/wordpress/lego-sea-tron-space-alien-prototype-trans-clear-minifigure/

Sort of looks like Blacktron 1 meets Blacktron 2, UNDERWATER!
That minifig looks like a mutated Mon Calamari. I love the fact that his eyes are studs.
