I hadn't seen this mentioned on here, but if it has then so be it.

The Minifigure Factory has ended up at the Leicester Square store, and I hear there's also one at the Liverpool store.

I do have a YouTube video of the process, but TL;DR: it's essentially Build A Mini except you customise a White torso with a design, and choose a name to go on a White 1x3 brick.

The experience costs GBP 10.99, and the available designs are rotated, with some seasonal ones.

The print quality is very good, and might be an option if you can't find anything you like in the Build A Mini section, though I wouldn't give up third-party custom parts any time soon.

I got the chance to create a Minifig torso at the Disney Springs flagship store in Orlando and was so happy to see a Classic Space logo torso option. 

The employee at the store informed me that it would be very difficult to color the torso a solid color to create a new space fig. I'd have to color as best I could around the logo and be careful not to color over the logo. 

I wanted the CS logo and "designed" a classic airport torso to go with it. It would be great if there were more drawing tools to assist you, in this case the option to draw a straight line. The logo is not printed in gold but I am happy! Blends the iconic townie and spacer figs of the 80s.

Has anyone tried or know if they'll let you provide your own monochrome torso for printing on? I noticed a lot of the patterns available start with just the black outlines which in theory seems like you'd be able to print on  any base color. I know they provide the white torsos by default, but think it would be cool if you could do a different color.

You'll probably find the print density is too low to look good on anything but white.
