Feature Request - Ability to select a range of years when browsing the database

I have a feature request.
It would be super handy to be able to select a range of years when browsing the database.

So, for instance, if I want to view all of the sets in the Pirates theme from 1989 to 1997, or only the Western sets released in 1996-97 (i.e. excluding the 2002 re-issues).

There's been multiple times for me that having this feature would have been of great use.

So, maybe the option to be able to shift-select multiple years in the dropdown menu, or some other similar solution.

You can do a work around using the advanced query builder, by setting year=1989 OR year=1990 OR ... OR year=1997 AND theme=PIRATES. 

It is a bit of a faff but doable if you want a single list.

You can also provide comma separated list of themes- and subthemes-.

Adding it to the UI would require a major rewrite, unfortuantely...

That's fantastic @Huw! Not quite as simple as a solution requiring a UI change, but still very usable.  Thank you!
