LEGO VIP Coin Collection

I am a US coin collector (and LEGO enthusiast).  I am wondering if there is any way to ascertain the mintages of these so far 3 coins (and who makes them).  I understand there could be no limit.  But I have to start somewhere.  5,000? 10,000 ? 100,000?.  I see on eBay what people are paying for these but this also reflects people who "missed out" on the open window to redeem.  Or people who don't want to acquire the required VIP points.

If anyone wants to work with me, I'm up to the task.

I am going to scout around some of the coin collecting forums to see if anyone knows about these.  Yes there are people who collect coins with no face value, they're called "rounds".  And if LEGO decided to make some in pure silver for a promotion, wow!

I don't see it in the database yet, but the number for the VIP Space coin is 5006468.
