What are the most strange / psychedelic sets you know of?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I have a friend who is both into Lego and into everything psychedelic. I'm also quite familiar with Lego so I can judge what would be appropriate to get for his birthday. He already has some of the Time Cruisers sets, which are very weird indeed :) 

My question for you is: What are some trippy / stoner / psychedelic sets that you know of? It needs to be at least a little subtle, so the hippie minifig or the minivan are not really good for this. I was thinking of maybe getting a garbage truck or sweeping vehicle. 

(I can elaborate more if needed).

Anything with minidolls is a bit like when the Simpsons did that treehouse of horror episode when Homer went into a virtual 3D world, so pretty trippy for minifigs.
