Advent Calendars - Wrong/Duplicate item behind doors

Just trying to get a feel for how many this affects.
So opened door 9 on my HP calendar only to find it is a duplicate of door 6 (Goblet of fire) rather than what it should be - table with a bottle on it.

I assume CS won’t be interested or have a replacement to send?

Surely you have nothing to lose by contacting CS ? they may have spares as an item, or even if they don't have the actual bagged item for door 9, they may send the individual elements that make it up.

You have absolutely nothing to lose in asking them

They'd want to know, anyway. They can't fix issues in their production methods if they don't know they exist.

Last year one of our HP ones had two McGonagall figs, with a missing Hermione. I was parting them out for sale rather than using it as an advent calendar so noticed early on. I bought them about 5 Dec, when they were £10 and was parting out the same day. The first time I reported it, the CS essentially told me I was wrong, that I had messed up and that I must have opened the wrong door, and that I should not have even opened it yet. So I waited and complained again on 14th (Hermione's day), and they sent the right figure.

I had this happen with last year's, got 2 flags instead of the fireplace. Emailed CS and they sent me the parts for the fireplace without issue
