Have you ever wondered how long a minifigure lives? How long its childhood lasts and at what age they procreate?

One of next year's City sets provides a clue thanks to some surprising continuity. I first saw this in a meme on Facebook but as is usually case, it's impossible to find anything on there once it's disappeared from your feed, or indeed find out the original source, so apologies to whoever noticed this initially for not giving credit.
