Botanical Collection launching next year

Pictures of these 18+ sets have been doing the rounds in the darker corners of the Internet for a couple of weeks but without knowing where they've come from we've been unable to publish them here. Overnight, the source was revealed as Polish book and toy seller Bonito so we can now reveal them to you.

LEGO is taking its 18+ range of sets in a new direction with the launch of a botanical collection which will initially comprise of 10280 Flower Bouquet with 756 pieces and 10281 Bonsai Tree with 878.

They both look excellent and make a welcome change from vehicles and buildings.

Really like the potential for this theme and will be excited to buy them as gifts for people and my pc. Possible ideas to continue the Botanical collection.
    1. Single red rose (one could buy a dozen)... I know there have versions in the past.
    2. Orchid
    3. Succulents

I have a collection of 500 ish cacti and succulents, and my other passion (apart from plastic bricks) is plants. I will definitely be buying 2 of each of these sets.

Aw, I'm actually a bit disappointed that the flowers weren't out by the time I got (COVID-style) married in September, I would have used it as my wedding bouquet.  I originally tried to make something out of the elements that I had on hand but was running out of time and needed to bricklink pieces, so I went with something else in the end.  This would have saved me some trouble!

I'm not really into plants or anything but it totally struck me how much I was admiring  the bonsai tree, particularly the alternate cherry blossom build.  I totally told my husband I was scaling back on purchases tho, I should learn not to make promises that I probably can't keep!
