When is 8088 discontinuing?

Hi all,
Sorry if this is a silly question (I'm new to the forums) but does anyone know or have a fair idea when ARC-170 starfighter 8088 is discontinuing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bottom line is noone knows when any set is going to be discontinued.
There are lots of people here who love to guess, so you may get someones opinion, but is likely to just be that 'someones opinion'.
There is a general 2 year shelf life belief but that is not always the case and often sets disappear sooner or stick around for more years.
If you really love a set, try to get it as soon as you can. If you want it as an investment then you have to gamble along with many others here.
Think the mods/admins need to create a 'sticky' post for this type of question as it is a VERY regular question.
