LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) Wall Mount

So I built the MF about a six months ago and had nowhere to display such a huge set.  The wife vetoed a coffee table display so  a wall mount was my only option.  It sat on the island in a closet for the last six months.  Finally found a mount from Germany that had pretty good reviews on Amazon.  I hope it holds up....

It looks cool, but I wouldn't trust that for a single second.

And, I'd recommend a background.  Something like this...

I hear ya...working on the wall paper.  Here is the link to the mount that I got.  I’m hoping that the German Engineering holds up....

I'd be more worried about the wall caving (if it is a dry wall)

As long as the mount is screwed into a stud, it'll be fine. I would definitely be more concerned about the mount itself giving out, especially with fatigue that occurs over time, or someone walking into it from the doorway that's in the second picture, or the Falcon simply falling off.

@CurryDawg, that's why, when I began making my coffee table display, I simply began making it. Wife can't veto me making it if it's already made. I'm a big fan of presenting things fait accompli.

    She hasn't killed me yet.....

I'm interested in getting something similar for mine as well, how is it holding up?

I designed and 3d printed my own adapter, coupled with a VESA mount. This was my approach: https://imgur.com/gallery/Pw4InQs
