Replacing minifig hands with other parts?

Are there any other LEGO parts that fit in the hand hole? Just wondering if there are any options to customise figures. Not actually got anything in mind at the moment. Doesn't need to be a 'legal' technique according to LEGO but do want to stick to official LEGO parts.

Pirate hooks fit, obviously. I don't think much else does as you aren't meant to remove hands. There is an Agents figure with a saw arm but he has a robot arm instead as these take regular bars.

The did the CMF flyguy who has a claw inplace of the hand.

There was also a couple of robots that used the wrench like clip piece instead

The robots all use robot arms though, don't they? They have bigger holes and fit any bars, like light sabers and so on.
