LEGO Digital Designer (LDD)

I recently discovered LDD and I must say it's damn impressive. I installed it on my laptop with no problems, but when I installed it on my desktop I get a runtime error whenever I try and run it. I looked on LEGO's site and all they said was to update my graphics drivers, which I did. I then tried uninstalling and re-installing LDD with no luck. My computer is not very old and quite capable of running the program. Any ideas?

If you are getting a specific error message or could describe the error (i.e. the step at which it happens and what happens), that would help.

I think you're best bet will probably be to contact LEGO's LDD customer service:

i ran into similar problems when i was trying to update it recently. the uninstall/reboot/reinstall trio worked for me.

It's a generic run time error when I try to run the program. I don't think I have ever rebooted between uninstalling and installing, so i might try that.

My problem is a dispatching error (and I don't have a clue to what that means) when I try to upgrade to the new version .

Well i tried rebooting and that didn't work. This is very frustrating. At least I can run it on my laptop.

So I have been trying to use LDD to start MOCs but either my mind isn't working to well (cause I have been up over 36 hrs ATM) or I am just really dumb. I can't seem to figure out how to turn bricks to go the opposite direction. Like say, for instance, I were to MOC a building. I can place the bricks on a East-to-West axis but not on a North-to-South axis. Someone with more brainpower help out please :) Lol

Click on the brick you want to move and use your arrow keys on your keyboard to move the piece. I hope this helps!
