They call it a string reel. I found it by looking at jack stone sets, they have those weird technic pins

Oh that's one of those large foam bricks. I haven't at the moment got time to search for a part for others to guess, so I'll let someone else formally identify it and post another part :)

@Astrobricks - I was searching for 26 stud length, didn't realise it was 25.5!

Sorry I slowed down this thread. I had a week off last week but I'm busy in work again so nearly forgot about it.

The soft bricks look to be the second picture from this one.

Hopefully this isn't as awkward as the last one I did!

That might be hard to find since it isn't listed against any sets on Bricklink, has none listed for sale on there and the "set" it comes in is only in the description. I don't want to hold up this thread again so I'll give a hint.

It has a bit of a connection with a previous part I posted on here.

The only photos of the entire thing I can find are tiny but I don't think they are used for minifigs. It seems like there are a few used to hold a large round plastic part (not in the inventory on Bricklink) to some cardboard.

I'll give another couple of hints anyway. What it comes in isn't listed under Sets on Bricklink, it's under Gear, has 5 minifigs and is there under multiple languages.

That's one of the pins which hold the Forma fish 'skins' onto the Technic frame. Someone else have a go :)
