Hello all,

I have recently been scouring the internet looking for the instructions that include the service pack-issued parts from #7153 Jango Fett Slave I. Does anyone know of a site that has them with these add-ons included? Or possibly have them themeselves and are willing to share? I have had no luck whatsoever.

@lkliment2 what was the "service pack issued parts"? I built this model before with no problems?

Im guessing there must have been a design correction during its run to warrant a pack of pieces to be added to it at a later date, or for LEGO CS to send out to people who reported issue. Its not unheard of, #10020 Santa Fe locomotive came with extra parts due to a color snafu and the #10213 was redesigned a bit due to a design flaw which allow parts of it to easily break away from the model (eventually becoming #10231)
Bricklink notes that there were two different version of this set, with the designs being subtlety different, which probably what the service pack of parts was for.A hint of what parts those were may be in the BL inventory for the set, where alternate parts are listed which may appear to be different parts from the set, or different colors.

A note in the inventory for the set on briclink explains the design change that likely required the parts pack.

Oh I know what the parts are... I’m just looking for the instructions that include them in the build! BL gives a very general idea of how *some* of the parts are used, but not all. You’ll note it also says there are two versions of the instructions, one of which includes the updated parts: that is the one I’m looking for.

If you look at the BL inventory of the set, under the “Alternate Parts” header, you’ll see the parts included in the service pack. I don’t know if you recall from building it, but it is an incredibly feeble construction, and the service pack was meant to reinforce such weaknesses, in particular by the fins.

Hmm, does not show on LEGO's instruction site either. You may be able to ask LEGO CS about it and see what they say..

Quick update on this thread: LEGO CS basically said they know there’s two versions of the instructions, but they don’t have the second one. Kind of interesting if you ask me

@lkliment2 there's a few scans of the later version of the instructions in this Brickshelf gallery, I think they cover most of the modified parts.

I find it interesting that the #8097 version of Slave I also underwent a design change during its run.
