Dream mid finish line

Hello, have you heard of the man who spent $96k and 5 years building a LEGO City? I expect to finish mine in 15-20 years but this is awesome. I don't know much of the political figure but I love his basement. I expect that will be the mid point on my travels to expand it further:

25% of his space is wasted on holiday decorations.

Doesn't he know the foil needs to go above him? That's where the aliens mind-rays are really coming from...

I like how the article says the details are amazing, with cars and people, lamps and an ice cream stand. Yeah that was a set, and he has less population/traffic than a lot of other cities out there.

Makes you wonder if the writer did any research of the sets.

I doubt it. If you are not into LEGO or know anyone into LEGO, then that man probably has the biggest collection in the world.

True enough, that takes us from their targeting area.

#6390 Main Street had all of that stuff 40 years ago! Okay, a popcorn stand instead of ice cream stand. Gotta love when reporters (or others) don't know much about what they're discussing!

A big criticism to media and bloggers is that they barely do any research on what they report. It sucks but it's true.

The mostly empty streets make it look like a modern COVID city.  He was way ahead of what was coming!  Maybe all the tinfoil around the sides helps to focus the mind rays and not block them :)

The guy spent $96,000 for his Lego city and still gets hate.  I think I'm going to call people here Adult Snobs Of Lego.  Before you throw your bricks at me, I'm just teasing, you ASOLs!  :)

Hey, if you are placing $96k in building a LEGO city it means that you still need to invest more in it.

What do you call $96k invested in a LEGO city? A good start! :)
