Julia Goldin, LEGO's Chief Marketing Officer, wanted to share the message below. She has taken some time to reflect on the global situation we are all in and shares some thoughts and reflections from how important the AFOL community is to her.

It's actually just one giant white book behind her.

I was starting a zoom call at work with our board of directors and managed to frantically Google bookshelves and insert a virtual background when I realised they would just see piles of lego on the shelves behind me.

Please pardon my unearthing of this thread - I completely missed this message from Ms. Goldin back in the Spring.  I stated in an earlier comment regarding her article that ...An individual who resides in a lofty corporate hierarchy will get my attention if they reveal a tidbit about themselves...

In this message Goldin certainly expressed her passion for LEGO even prior to her marketing position at the company, and this short video conveys the humanity that seemed lacking in the highlights of her recent article.  This is the kind of interaction I really like to see from corporate higher-ups...a little something to let us know they're like us.  I regret not seeing this in May!
